21 Day Challenge – Day Two Survied

So Day Two was much easier. I barely craved carbs which is a huge bonus. The eating was easier and the shake made me feel energized all day. Usually around 2:00 I am dying for a nap but not today!! Yay maybe this does work.

Now I know you are all wondering about the video I referenced yesterday….The Dirty 30…..it rocked!!! It was weight based and all exercises I loved so the 30 minutes flew by. Obviously this is just reinforcing the fact that I love weight training and hate cardio and I hope at the end of this 21 days that changes.

Today is Day Three and I can’t believe it. I actually thought this was going to be much harder to get into and commit to, but so far so good.

Day 1 – Confessions of a Carboholic

Well yesterday was day one of the 21 day challenge and I confirmed my suspicions that I am a Carboholic. So I had the shake in the morning and I was pleasantLy surprised it was good! I had two tangerines for snack and lunch consisted of grliked chicken salad with goat cheese. Afternoon snack was strawberries and blueberries and then chicken fajitas. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t craving more caves but that is because a ridiculous amount if my daily intake is carbs. 

So the eating was easy per say but then it was time to do the video….I almost died. So it is only 30 minutes so I didn’t think it would be that bad but holy hell back to back burpees and mountain climbers!!!! It probably didn’t help that it was 10pm when I started the video and Andy and Brad sat on the couch!

Day two is here and the video is called Dirty 30 so I am already scared! Wish me luck I may need it!

Prepping for the 21 Day Fitness Challenge

Alright so tomorrow is the official start of the 21 Day Fitness Challenge that I am doing.  Yup 21 days could be a long time lol….

So the challenge is actually a Beach Body product and I am super stoked to do it with a friend! So what does it entail you ask? A protein shake once a day, following a simple work out plan that is only 30 minuted a day, and the most important part is changing my eating habits! They make this part easy by giving me containers that are portion controlled and colour coded for food groups 🙂

I will blog every day of this 21 days for you skeptical ones who were afraid to join me and maybe you will change your mind and do a challenge with me next month. I will even post my results at the end of the challenge, now that is brave!!!

I have entered the world of blogging….

So after many people have been bugging me about blogging all about Oliver and my so called crazy life in general I have caved.

So just to put everyone at ease, Oliver is great, he gets sweeter every day just like his mamma 🙂

This blog is going to focus on Oliver of course and my new path to healthier living (yup I totally wrote that)

Wish me luck as tomorrow is my first day of the new me!
